The newest version of ArchiMate is 3.2. It is not a major change from Version 3.1, but anyone pursuing ArchiMate training should certainly go with the latest version. EA Principals is proud to have been one of the first training companies to be accredited to teach Version 3.2 and now has both live and e-learning courses available.
Also, EA Principals is a major champion for the more widespread use of ArchiMate across all EA programs and also touching other disciplines, such as Systems Engineering, Portfolio/Program/Project Management, and standards such as TOGAF.
Our live public courses (both in-person and online, or a combination) include hands-on modeling with compelling, modern use cases across a variety of sectors. For private courses, we create customized case studies and modeling exercises relevant to that organization.
In addition, EA Principals offers an Advanced, Applied ArchiMate course as an option for those organizations and individuals seeking mastery at an accelerated pace. These can also be extended to part-time mentoring on an ongoing basis for several months.
Such mentoring can be extremely valuable; we have seen vast improvements in EA programs that take ArchiMate with us followed by ongoing mentoring in a kind of curator role to provide otherwise difficult to obtain, expert feedback on a real-time basis.
We have found, though, that even to get executive-level support for ArchiMate training at all is a challenge. Therefore, we are also offering customized, 90-minute, onsite workshops to provide a needed overview to executives for them to realize the compelling value that ArchiMate can bring to Digital Transformation and similar EA initiatives.
